Back to Bellsburg Begins Today!

Today is a big one for us.

If we’re being honest, we didn’t know if we would ever come back to this.

The first Bellsburg record felt like a moment you don’t try to recreate. It felt finished. Complete in its own quiet way. So for a long time, we left it alone.

But the songs didn’t really leave us.
And neither did you.

Over time, it started to feel less like revisiting something old and more like being invited back into something that was still alive. So we went back. Back to the house in Bellsburg, Tennessee. Back to the living room. Back to the place where Rich Mullins lived, wrote, and left behind something that still carries weight.

And today, we get to share the first piece of it.

“Heaven in His Eyes” is out now.

Rich wrote this song years ago, and like so many of his songs, it doesn’t feel tied to a single moment in time. It’s honest and steady and somehow still says exactly what needs to be said. There’s a simplicity to it, but it holds more than you expect.

This time around, it’s carried by Luke Bower.

There’s something about Luke’s voice that felt right for this one. Not polished for the sake of being polished, but present. Strong. Careful with the song. You can feel that it matters to him, and that’s what we wanted.

This is the first single from Back to Bellsburg.
A new collection of songs recorded in that same living room, with a group of friends who knew they were stepping into something meaningful.

We didn’t set out to make a follow up.
But somewhere along the way, it started to feel like a response.

To the songs.
To the place.
And to the community that asked for more.

So this is our encore.

The full record releases September 18. We’ll be sharing more along the way, one song at a time.

Really grateful to get to do this.
And really grateful you’re here with us.
