Meet Abbey Sitterley

As Old Bear’s publicist and communications manager, Abbey handles things like our press releases and newsletter, making sure news gets out about the upstream sound. By day, Abbey handles communications for her church and also operates as a freelance writer, ruminating on the tension between faith and doubt and how it can fuel sincere pursuit of the Good, True, and Beautiful.

Abbey stays busy making music, too, as one half of Old Bear artist The Local Hang-Ups and as a solo artist, releasing her debut self-titled record fall 2023.

In her free time, Abbey can be found with her nose in a book, taking long walks in her neighborhood, or trying a new bourbon. We don’t know what we would do without her!
